The clients fell in love with our Be My Muse collection Brushwork and wanted them reimagined in solid 18kt yellow gold and white gold. The perfect rings for art lovers.
ART INSPIRED
The client wished to transform her personal art photography of glaciers into a wearable designs in their wedding rings. By incorporating her old rings and reusing the diamonds from them, we were able to add meaningful details and give existing pieces new life. After many explorations and design iterations to capture the intricate textures and close-up imagery of glaciers and ice, we created beautiful 18kt yellow gold rings with a refined matte finish that enhances and highlights the sculptural textures.
PERSONAL PREFERENCES
The clients had distinctly different styles and preferences, yet wanted a shared element that would create a connection between both rings. She envisioned an organic design with a gemstone playfully emerging from textured surfaces. He, on the other hand, preferred a clean and classic ring design.
To create harmony between the two pieces, we introduced a common design language by incorporating a solid emerald-cut gemstone shape in metal, mounted at the centre of his ring to create a subtle optical illusion for his ring. Her ring got the actual stone that subtly levitates and provides a subtle shimmer. Crafted in sterling silver, both rings were finished with a refined matte texture, giving the designs a contemporary and cohesive feel.
NATURAL ELEMENT
The clients were inspired by our Dear Eden collection and the Millefolium Ring texture specifically. They were drawn to its rich texture and wanted to build their designs around this organic character. While both wished for a matching pair, they also wanted each ring to reflect their individual preferences.
He envisioned a design with a more classic signet ring feel, while she preferred a more playful interpretation featuring an elevated design and a gemstone. The result was a complementary pair that shares the same botanical language and textures while maintaining a distinct personality for each wearer. A careful balance between textured and smooth surfaces creates contrast and harmony throughout the designs, while a smoky quartz gemstone incorporated into her ring adds warmth and an elegant focal detail.
