Mass Lee Jewelry was selected through a competition organized by the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp to design the official alumni badge for graduates and alumni of the institution.
The result became a multifunctional handcrafted jewelry piece that can be worn as a brooch, necklace, or combined into a larger composition. Every detail of the design references different artistic disciplines taught at the Academy - including painting, sculpture, jewelry design, photography, and other departments represented through carving techniques, stones, textures, and artistic symbolism.
Since being selected, Mass Lee Jewelry has continued to create these pieces every year for the Academy. The badges are presented to graduates during the annual celebrations and remain a meaningful symbol connecting alumni to one of Europe’s most respected art schools.
For us, this collaboration carries special significance because of our own connection to Antwerp’s artistic and creative community.
